Silverware techniques are applied to furniture, making a statement about how valuable a design piece can be. The well crafted pieces are made by hand. The marks of extensive hammering are shown on the surface of each tabletop, adding a natural effect of liquid metal drops.

Three geometrical shapes make the bases of these pieces, giving a contrast between a strong structure and a soft surface. The tables can be used as trays by turning the inverse side of the table top, which has a matt finish, were all made by St James factory in a limited edition.

The inspiration was to make a new type of tray tables used for centuries in Eastern cultures, adopting ancient techniques which creates a long lasting product that will age gracefully.
