MANUEL

Manuel is a common Portuguese name and it has inspired the “manuelino” or “neomanuelino” style of architecture and furniture dating from XV century inspired by the king Dom Manuel I. Even if originally it was a late Gothic and Romantic style, here in this cabinet piece for Líder, the design has turned the inspiration into an ultra simplification of large frames and use of rich proportions with solid materials.

Using hardwood and glass, the interior of this cabinet has a delicate lining in natural straw, a tinted mirror back and features internal lighting. The turned solid wood feet shape returns in the details to hold the shelves again. Manuel is meant to be used to showcase precious classic porcelain and tableware, enhancing any item displayed inside it.
